Meet Our Leadership Team

Fr. Tomasz - Pastor of Our Lady Of Czestochowa - the Spiritual Director of Unity and Mercy, well-known for his profound teachings. He is actively involved in evangelization in both Poland and the USA, assisting with Alpha courses, the School of New Evangelization, and marriage formation. He has completed several programs, including two years at the Encounter School of Ministry and the two-year National School of Evangelizers, organized by the Team of the Polish Episcopal Conference for New Evangelization.

Andrzej Olewinski was born in Elk, northeast part of Poland, immigrate to US in 1988. He married his wonderful wife Malgorzata in 2012 and they have miracle son Dominik. 
He joined the Metanoia Charismatic Community at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church Worcester, MA in 2017.

His experience with Metanoia has been an absolute game changer in his spiritual life. He has found many blessings, more joy, courage and excitement to share his faith. Since 2024 Leader of Metanoia Community.

Gracjan serves as a Leader of a Small Group in the Unity and Mercy Ministries Bible Study and is also part of the Leadership Team. He is passionate about spreading the Gospel in every possible way and brings joy, energy, and enthusiasm wherever he serves. His deep love for God and desire to help others encounter Christ are reflected in both his ministry and everyday life.
He is actively involved in many ministries, generously sharing his time, talents, and gifts to support our church and the wider community. He also helps lead music during Discipleship meetings, using his gifts to help create an atmosphere of worship and openness to God’s presence.

Charlene is a teacher by profession and a dedicated Leader of a Small Group in the Unity and Mercy Bible Study. She is passionate about serving others and has a special heart for helping those who are in need. Her compassion and generosity are reflected through her involvement in the Food Pantry ministry, where she faithfully serves members of the community with care and kindness. Charlene is also part of the leadership team of Unity and Mercy Ministries, helping guide and support the mission of building faith, unity, and deeper relationships with God within the community.

Eduardo is part of the Leadership Team of Unity and Mercy Ministries and faithfully serves the community with dedication, humility, and a generous heart. He helps take care of the behind-the-scenes preparations for meetings and events, including photography and video coverage, helping capture meaningful moments and memories within the ministry.

Always willing to serve wherever needed, Eduardo is never afraid of hard work. Whether moving chairs, setting up spaces, helping with preparations, or assisting with the many practical needs of events and gatherings, he faithfully supports the ministry with a joyful and servant-hearted attitude.

Fr. Ryszard Polek - Pastor of St. Joseph Basilica in Webster / Co Founder of Unity and Mercy. He was born in Poland and has dedicated his life to serving the Church through evangelization and pastoral ministry.

In 2014 he was appointed as pastor of the Our Lady of Częstochowa Parish in Worcester continuing his mission to lead and inspire.

With a heart for evangelization, Fr. Ryszard actively supports initiatives that help people encounter Christ and grow in their faith.

Marek Brzuska—you will recognize him by his warm smile and calm presence, always patient even in the most stressful situations. He is happily married to Marzenka Brzuska and a proud father of two beautiful daughters, Monika and Marta. A highly talented individual, often called "golden hands," he can do it all—coordinating Alpha, cooking, and even fixing a broken window!
He is responsible for coordinating Alpha at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and has been a dedicated member of the Metanoia Community for many years.

Debbie is one of the earliest members of Unity and Mercy Ministries and has faithfully served our community with dedication, love, and humility throughout the years. As a member of the leadership team of Unity and Mercy Ministries and a longtime member of our church community, she has been a steady source of support, encouragement, and care for so many people.

Debbie is always ready to serve with love and kindness, often taking care of countless details behind the scenes before, during, and after meetings and events. Her servant heart, faithfulness, and willingness to help wherever needed make her an invaluable part of the ministry and community life.

Nicole Hall is part of the Leadership Team of Unity and Mercy Ministries and faithfully serves the community with humility, love, and dedication. She has a caring heart for people and is passionate about helping others feel welcomed, supported, and connected within the ministry.

Nicole is responsible for reaching out to and staying in contact with new members, helping them feel seen, included, and encouraged as they become part of the Unity and Mercy community. Through her kindness and warm spirit, she helps create an atmosphere where people can feel at home and grow in their faith journey.

I am Kasia Intrieri, child of God. President of Unity and Mercy Ministries in Worcester, MA. Originally from Poland, I have been involved with Alpha for 19 years and co-founded the Metanoia Community and Unity and Mercy Ministries alongside Fr. Richard. I lead Alpha teams, engage in online evangelization through my YouTube channel "Kasia Intrieri" and the Coffee and Heaven podcast, and continue my formation with the Encounter School of Ministry. Professionally, I am a UX/UI Designer.

Malwina Janczewska is a devoted wife, loving mother, and worship leader at Unity and Mercy Ministries, where she leads worship and coordinates Worship on the fourth Friday of every month. She is deeply passionate about the Holy Spirit and carries a heartfelt desire to share God’s love with everyone she meets. Her personal journey of faith has been profoundly shaped by the New Life Course, through which she has experienced countless blessings—greater joy, courage, and a renewed excitement to share her faith. Most importantly, her relationship with the Lord has grown deeper and more intimate.

Kathy Bierch is a Leader of a Small Group in Unity and Mercy Ministries and Part of the Leadership team of our organization.. She has a heart for sharing God’s love through hospitality, service, and building meaningful connections within the community.
She is passionate about cooking and joyfully serves as the Food Coordinator for our community gatherings and events. Together with her husband, she faithfully serves the church with generosity, warmth, and dedication. A born educator, Kathy lovingly shares the Word of God through both her actions and her words, inspiring others through her faith and servant heart.

Paul is a Leader of a Small Group in the Unity and Mercy Discipleship Ministry. He is deeply passionate about growing in faith and continually seeks to deepen his relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, learning, and active involvement in ministry life.

His faithfulness, dedication, and steady presence are a great support and encouragement within the community. Paul is also responsible for many of the technical preparations for Bible Study, Worship Nights, and other ministry events.
